Dogecoin: This Crucial Core Update Will Boost DOGE Price

Dogecoin developers are preparing for kernel updates 1.14.7 and 1.21, which are expected to come in the coming months. News of Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter recently sparked a brief rally at DOGE.

Despite the crypto winter of 2022, memecoin Dogecoin (DOGE) is stubbornly continuing on its way, holding a position among the top ten cryptocurrencies by market cap. Mishboar, a Dogecoin-focused Twitter account, recently posted news regarding kernel development in the Dogecoin ecosystem.

The Dogecoin development team is currently working on two major kernel releases, updates 1.14.7 and 1.21. According to developer Patrick Lodder, the two updates will be the basis for the future of Dogecoin.

1.14.7 should release this year, including also new features; 1.21, on which Doge’s future might be built, could come out in March 2023.

1.14.6 will bring bug fixes and new features, while the 1.21 update will be the gateway to the future, according to the developer.”

According to Lodder, update 1.14.7 should come by the end of the year. followed by kernel version 1.21 in March 2023.

Dogecoin and Elon Musk
